Great Work!

It is so exciting to see work created by Talking Threads viewers. Below you can see Jane's work- inspired by the technique quilter Di Wells shared with us in Talking Threads Episode 3. Jane is part of Zede's Sewing Studio, Columbia, USA. Check out their blog here.
Karen has created this beautiful twisted quilted bag, below, inspired by Mary Gamester's demo in the Talking Threads Christmas Special. We love her addition of the padded hearts on the draw strings. Click here to visit Karen's blog- Serendipity Dragonfly.

We're in Sew Magazine!

What a wonderful surprise...this afternoon I was flicking through this months Sew magazine and there we were, page 20! Thank you Sew!
Check out this months magazine for some really great sewing projects, the free dressmaking patterns are a real treat!

The Indian Block Company in the press.

Thank you to Patrick at Amersham Life! A great article all about Jamie & Jyoti's adventures to India was published in the January issue of Amersham Life.

Anne Bagby- Gorgeous Printed Papers

We were over the moon when Anne Bagby, the internationally renowned print maker & mixed media artist sent us a design for a printing block. Jamie took Anne's design to India and had it made up into 4 different wooden printing blocks.
Ann adored the blocks we sent her and quickly got to work using them, meanwhile we patiently waited to see what she would create.
Yesterday we got very excited when an air mail envelope arrived on the Colouricious door step! Inside were these wonderful printed papers! Great work Anne, we love them- it is so nice to see them being used to create such interesting work.
If you are interested in creating you very own, unique printed papers & fabrics, send us your design and we will get your design made up into a one off wooden printing block! Click here to visit the Indian Wooden Block Company website, brought to you by Colouricious. Commission your own designs or browse our wide range of ready made blocks.
